Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of generativity on the life satisfaction, and the mediating effect of ego integrity on the relationship between generativity and life satisfaction among the elderly volunteers. The subject for this study is 115 elderly people who participated in the Sports sharing program of ToTo Senior Festival which run by the Korean Association of Senior Welfare Centers. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN(ver. 17.0) program, and frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, multiple regression, and Sobel test were utilized. The result revealed that ego integrity has a partial mediating effect between generativity and life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
